WWE fans desperately needed something fresh following a disappointing 2015, and that’s exactly what we got with Vince McMahon’s huge announcement on Raw: For the first time ever the WWE World Heavyweight Championship will be defended in the Royal Rumble match. While all the signs may point to another triumph for the current title holder, Roman Reigns, there are a number of other potential contenders who could capture the gold.
